Imagine a Mountain

So as I am going thru the pictures, Kezden says...
"Hey mom we are climbing a mountain, ya a mountain with Nanny and brother." I looked at him and started to explain that it isnt a mountain that you are climbing, its the way that I am holding the camera.... then I trail off.
I looked at him and said, yes Kez you ARE climbing a mountain.
Why ruin his little 3 yr old imagination with camera angles and the like, when I can just let him remember, that time in the park with his Nanny (zanden couldent say Nana and it came out Nanny, and so that is the term of endearment that stuck) and brother and me climbed a mountain.

Who are the people in our neighborhood

Who are the people who plant such wonderful flowering trees?
Hodgepodge Lodge people, thats who!
So let me paint the scene here...
Were taking a stoll thru our neighborhood.
When splat blam pow, these trees just jumped out at me. Like a beacon that was calling me in the middle of the night. I had to stop what I was doing and whore out my kids for some good old Wednesday afternoon picture taking. I now know how Bruce Wayne feels when he sees the bat signal. Drop what you are doing Master Wayne and tend to this matter NOW.
I love the colors! Thats it! Plane and simple. The colors of these trees is what it is all about, what a wonerful backdrop. My camera did this beautiful color combination an awful injustice. I know some other cameras, and the eyeballs behind the lenses of those other cameras, could take a much better photo than I. Alas I am just a mere mortal with the camera, I dont have the patience, nor the know how to take a really good PHOTOGRAPH, just a cute snap shot for scrapbooking and blogging purposes.

I made the kids pose for a photo op. I had to bribe them with 15 min of Tim and Eric Awesome show-great job.
Its a TV show that we are hooked on and cant get enough of. I will save the gory details of our new fav TV show, for another time. Lookfoward for more info about Tim and Eric. If you cant wait, look for them on YOUTUBE.

Heres the deal.
I am back in the blogosphere.
What is that you say, oh I have heard that one before.
No really I will be posting once a day, seriously, no really I will post one thing a day rain or shine!
I will have to take a break if i go out of town , but I will let ya'all know if that happens.
I know I have teased ya'all in the past, but this time it is for real!
Not to be sucker puched when you go to modmom & 2 boyz and dont see anything since FEB.
No more teasing you with my blogging awesomeness, no more showing you neat and facinating pictures of Z & K, then ripping the one thing that keeps you going from day to day away from you and holding them hostage on my CF cartridge.
From now on I will be giving you the full on ONCE A DAY blogging treatment you so deserve.
I have created a spectacular visually stunning little blog (Donita can understand my vow for my blog to look bangin') and I want to share it with all you modern design, music, pop culture, art and all things way too cool to talk about that you have to see for yourself, and of course Duncan clan loving fools.
So here goes I have given you all my promise to respect my Blog, I will visit it ONCE a day and give it the love it deserves.

A three hour tour

Wisconsin Dells. We were on a 3 hour dinner cruise. Zanden still talks about the time we had a "Gormet meal on the boat in Wisconsin." Gormet my a**. It was a BLAST, we got some really wicked photos there.

My green eyed monster

I am finding the most wonderful pictures of the kids and putting them onto my blog. I especially love this photo of Zanden. Todd took it when were a family of three. We were on campus. I love how the green in his eyes match his hair and his fleece. Zanden loved to take pictures with us, we were always walking around photographing each other. The way I feel about this photo is similar as to how I feel about the "happiness" pic of Kezden.
